Refund and cancellation policy

There are two separate amounts in any EasyDharma booking, and they have separate terms.

Refund terms are set per experience. Spiritual spaces differ widely in how they handle cancellations, from fully flexible to entirely non-refundable, and donation-based spaces often do not refund at all. Rather than impose one policy across all of them, we publish the terms that actually apply.

1. Where to find the terms that apply to you

The refund and cancellation terms for your booking, covering both the EasyDharma booking fee and the spiritual space's contribution, are shown:

• on the experience listing, before you book;
• on the payment screen, before you pay; and
• in your booking confirmation email.

Those terms govern your booking. Read them before you pay. If anything is unclear, or if the space's own terms are not stated on the listing, write to hello@easydharma.com and we will get them for you in writing before you commit.

2. The EasyDharma booking fee

a. We charge the booking fee only once a spiritual space has confirmed it can host you. You are not charged for browsing, for TruPath, or for a request that does not result in a confirmed booking.

b. The refund terms for the booking fee are as stated on the experience listing and in your confirmation. They generally reduce as your arrival date approaches.

c. If the spiritual space cancels, closes, changes its dates, or cannot host you after all, we refund our booking fee in full, or, if you prefer, carry it forward against a different booking at no further charge. Your choice. This applies to every experience, regardless of what the listing says.

d. If we cancel or withdraw from arranging your booking, we refund our booking fee in full. This applies to every experience.

3. The contribution you pay a spiritual space

a. You pay the spiritual space directly. EasyDharma does not collect, hold, or refund that amount.

b. Cancellation and refund of that amount is governed entirely by the spiritual space's own terms, as shown on the experience listing.

c. If you need to cancel, tell us at the same time as you tell the space. We will pass on your request and your circumstances in good faith. We cannot compel a space to refund you and we do not make up the difference ourselves.

d. This is a reason to take out travel insurance with cancellation cover. See section 11 of our terms of service.

4. How to request a refund

• Write to hello@easydharma.com from the email address you used to book, stating your name, the experience, and your dates.
• We will acknowledge within 48 hours.
• Approved refunds of the booking fee are processed within 7 working days of approval, to the original payment method through Razorpay.
• Your bank or card issuer may take a further 5 to 10 working days to credit it.
• Applicable taxes already remitted are refunded in accordance with law. Where payment gateway charges are non-recoverable they may be deducted, and we will tell you the amount before processing.

5. If you cannot travel for reasons outside your control

Where illness, bereavement, visa refusal, or a comparable event beyond your control prevents you travelling, write to us. We will carry the booking fee forward for 12 months against a future booking, once, at no charge. Whether the space does the same with its contribution is the space's decision, and we will ask on your behalf.

Nothing in this policy affects any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
