Dharma Map

A living atlas of humanity’s pathways to ultimate reality.

Every spiritual tradition seeks to answer the same question: what is ultimately real? Across centuries and cultures, seekers have explored this mystery through different traditions, lineages, teachers, and practices.

The Dharma Map reveals how these pathways connect. It is not a directory. It is a living map of transmission.

Seven layered planes of the Dharma Map, from ultimate reality down to the seeker.
The problem

We have maps for where to go. Not for who we might become.

Humanity has mapped continents, oceans, transportation networks, and the stars. Yet we possess no shared map of the world’s contemplative traditions.

A Zen monastery appears beside a yoga retreat. A meditation technique appears beside a centuries-old lineage. A teacher appears beside a sacred tradition. Without context, everything appears flat.

The Dharma Map reveals the deeper structure beneath the landscape.

The seven layers

From the source to the seeker

Move through the seven layers of the map. Each is a different question, a different scale of the same dharma.

What is real?
01

Ultimate Reality

The source the whole map rests on. The ultimate reality and natural law beneath existence itself. Every tradition points toward it, though each gives it a different name. It belongs to no path, yet every path seeks it.

The real places a seeker enters and lives in for a while. Each one is read up to its tradition and lineage, and down to its daily practice.
